• Short description of the University/Company

UNI–Universum International College is one of Kosovo’s leading higher education institutions, powered by Arizona State University. Through strategic partnerships with leading international universities and industry, UNI delivers innovative, market-oriented education and promotes employability, digital transformation, and internationalization. With extensive experience in coordinating and implementing Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and other international projects, UNI actively contributes to higher education modernization, university-business cooperation, and work-based learning across Europe and the Western Balkans.

• Role of the University in this project

UNI plays a central role in the implementation of DUALKO and leads Work Package 3 – DUALKO e-Learning Platform for Supporting Work-Based Learning Environments. UNI is responsible for developing the DUALKO toolkit for implementing Dual Higher Education, coordinating the design of the CMS/eLearning platform, preparing recommendations for Higher Education Institutions, supporting the development of institution-specific Dual Higher Education models, and facilitating collaboration agreements with companies for student placements. Additionally, UNI contributes to stakeholder engagement, pilot implementation, and the promotion of sustainable university-industry cooperation in Kosovo.

• Prof. Shqipe Gërguri-Rashiti – Senior Researcher
  Shqipe Gërguri-Rashiti has extensive academic and management experience in higher education and Erasmus+ projects. Her expertise includes management, information systems, strategic management, innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Uran Rraci – Senior Researcher
  Uran Rraci has extensive experience in curriculum development, accreditation, professional standards and higher education systems, including experience in Kosovo and the United States.
• Arlinda Qehaja – Project Manager
  Arlinda Qehaja has extensive experience in institutional operations, internationalisation and implementation of Erasmus+ Capacity Building and mobility projects.
• Albiona Sopi -Project Officer

Albiona Sopi is a Project Officer at Universum International College. She supports the coordination, administration, reporting, and day-to-day implementation of UNI’s activities within the DUALKO project.
